VirtuLawless Youth Development Program: VR Learning, SEL, Literacy & Creative Technology for Baltimore Youth
efter The Lawless Academy LTDVirtuLawless is a community-centered youth development program created by The Lawless Academy LTD, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Baltimore City and Baltimore County. This innovative program provides a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed, and stigma-free learning environment where young people in grades 6–12 can explore immersive technology, creative arts, literacy development, and leadership-building activities.
VirtuLawless currently operates inside the Enoch Pratt Free Library – Earl Teen Center for Learning and Leadership, with a second expansion site scheduled for the Cherry Hill Branch Library in early 2026. The program was created in response to the growing need for accessible, high-quality enrichment opportunities for youth who face systemic challenges such as trauma exposure, academic gaps, poverty, community violence, and instability at home.
The VirtuLawless Youth Development Program combines virtual reality learning, hands-on maker-space workshops, literacy support, and social-emotional learning (SEL) to help young people build the confidence, skills, and resilience needed to succeed in school, in their communities, and in their personal lives.
