Founded in 1959, Personal Counseling Services (PCS) is a community-based outpatient mental health provider offering a wide range of services to individuals and families. Our offerings include:

Weekly individual/family/couple psychotherapy

Music therapy

Play therapy

Addiction counseling

Faith-based counseling (welcoming all faith traditions)

Medication management (monthly)

Equine-assisted therapy

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for substance use disorders

Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)

Mental health services /Training and education for first responders and call centers

PCS also writes successful grants pro-bono for grassroots nonprofits without in-house grant writers, in support of their vital community work.

One of our key departments is dedicated to serving first responders, active military, Veterans, and their family members. This program is led by Joni Stroud-Martin, who brings specialized expertise and multiple certifications, including:
