BRING EVERYONE IN THE ZONE

We have three main programs: Preparing, Caring, Sharing.

Preparing- We train volunteers to be facilitators, and court mentors. We provide resiliency training to families and help them with problem-solving and empowerment. We provide suicide prevention training in Mental Health First Aid, Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM), and AS+K. We provide Military Cultural Competency, and VetCourt mentor training.

Caring - We provide direct financial assistance through grants and donations from individuals and businesses. Many of our Service Members, Veterans, Dependents and Surviving Spouses (SMVDS) come to us in a time of desperation because their utilities are going to be turned off or they are going to be evicted. We are known for being tenacious and doing whatever it takes to help the SMVDS. We try every avenue available and do our best to help. We assist our target population with a myriad of services including everything necessary to assist service personnel and their families who are suffering with basic needs. These activities include, but are not limited to: screening; intake; orientation; assessment; budgeting and financial counseling, treatment planning; counseling; case management; crisis intervention; client education; referral; reports and record keeping; and consultation. We provide a comprehensive assessment of needs, resource management and development with a focus on sustainability and moving the customer from a dependent state to self-sufficiency.

Sharing - We facilitate and support numerous Peer Support Groups in three counties and provide one-on-one Peer Support. We have a counselor who provides services free of charge on Mondays by appointment. He is a combat Veteran.
