Roaring Run Lions Club is working in the Finksburg and the surrounding area to meet the needs of our local community and the world every day because we share a core belief - to serve our community. Roaring Run Lions are dedicated to Preventing and Eliminating Drugs in our Community. We collect used eye classes, supports Guide Dog training, and Vision Research through the Lions Vision Research Foundation. Lions serve youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools through scholarships, recreation and mentoring. Roaring Run supports the local Finksburg Baseball and Girls Fastpitch Softball by providing a safe and beautiful park to run their league, free of charge. Lions are active. Our motto is "We Serve." Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our local communities.
Roaring Run Lions Club is in our 60th year of Service to the community with roughly 50 members dedicated to serving our community. We own and operate the Roaring Run Lions Community Park to provide a safe and beautiful space for young people to learn and play baseball and softball, learn sportsmanship and healthy lifestyle habits.
