PATRIOT FOUNDATION

Patriot Foundation is an all- volunteer low overhead non-profit. Our overhead rate has consistently been in the 6-7% range. Most non-profits which have the annual impact such as Patriot Foundation have some salaried personnel and a higher expense ratio. Our efficiency and effectiveness have been the subject of vetting organizations such as Guidestar, local and regional press, the Governor of NC, and the NC Legislature. Patriot Foundation has close ongoing relationships with six military non-profits which we use to identify best candidates, deliver scholarship grants, and provide due diligence tracking for beneficiaries. To accommodate additional grantees expected this year, we will establish additional relationships with three other military non-profits. These “downstream military non-profits” have a close understanding of the various military organizations we benefit and are high quality organizations.
