The Dog Barn Project – A Transformative Investment in Onsite Canine Care at Lucy and Bert Bully Sanctuary Inc

Lucy and Bert Bully Sanctuary Inc., established in 2023, is seeking $115,000 to fund a critical initial phase of our "Dog Barn" project. This project involves constructing a permanent, 45'x100' metal building to provide a safe, clean, and spacious onsite housing solution for resident rescue bully breed dogs, replacing inadequate temporary shelters.

This grant will specifically cover site preparation, laying a leveled concrete foundation, erecting the full metal building shell, and initiating core electrical and plumbing rough-ins. While the $115,000 is a foundational investment, it will create a weather-tight structure and lay crucial groundwork for future completion of the facility, which will ultimately enhance the sanctuary's capacity to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome more dogs, significantly reducing operational costs and improving animal welfare.
