Islamic Relief USA has declared an emergency in the Kashmiri and Baluchistan due to unprecedented winter weather conditions. Heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures have caused hundreds to seek shelter, food and essential supplies.
IRUSA has launched an immediate response to both lives from extreme and rebuild impacted areas.

Balochistan
According to the preliminary information there are currently 16 deaths, with 11 injured (NDMA).
The PDMA has declared an emergency in many districts within Northern Balochistan including Mastung, Qila Abdullah and Ziarat
AJK
According to the preliminary information there are currently 76 deaths, with many more injured (SDMA).
Many villages in Neelam Valley are still stranded due to the avalanches
7 Important access roads in AJK including: Neelum Valley Road, Bagh to Chikar Road, Bagh to Lasdana Road, Leepa Valley Road, Mehmood Gali to Abbaspur Road and Hajipeer Road are blocked due to snowfall. The blockade of these roads have made the rescue and relief efforts very difficult.
