Seattle Koyasan Buddhist Temple has been located downtown Seattle for 70 years, rescuing people who have sufferings, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Besides religious (Buddhist) activities and ceremonies, we are focusing on the social betterment through non-religious programs.
1. Comforting mental sufferings of homeless people, providing opportunities of mindful meditations.
2. Assisting people who have addictions to be away from their addictions, providing opportunities to practice mindful meditations.
3. Helping the youth (from elementary school students to collage students ) understand mindfulness through mindful meditations.
4. Helping Veterans find Peace of Mind.
