Easter Seals Southern California, Inc.

For more than 100 years, Easterseals has worked tirelessly with our partners to enhance quality of life and expand local access to healthcare, education, and employment opportunities for people who have been diagnosed with a disability across the U.S and around the world. As an affiliate, Easterseals Southern California (ESSC) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization, established in 1988. Over the past three decades, ESSC has grown to become one of the largest disability services organizations in California with programs benefiting individuals at more than 65 service sites across a 10-County region that includes: San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange, Imperial, Kern, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo.

ESSC provides essential services and on-the-ground supports to more than 15,000 people each year – from early childhood programs for the critical first five years, to autism services, to daily and independent living services for adults, as well as employment programs, veterans' services, and more. Our public education, policy, and advocacy initiatives positively shape perceptions about and address the urgent and evolving needs of the one in four Americans with disabilities today. Together we are empowering people with disabilities, families, and communities to be full and equal participants in society.
