At Lyla’s House our goal is to establish resource centers, safe spaces for sensory regulation and eventually schools - where families of Autistic individuals or those with disabilities feel a sense of belonging and receive as much support as possible without denying independence and free of judgement.

Recently, we debuted a sensory tent in collaboration with the Caldwell Police Department and Autism Society of Idaho for the annual Walk for Autism. We provided a safe place for individuals to regulate themselves in an overstimulating situation, providing individual sensory spaces, adaptive equipment and sensory toys.

Since then we were honored with the opportunity to work with the Idaho Special Olympics during their 2024 Summer Games - providing a sensory tent and safe place for participants and attendees. This resources is vital and the first of it’s kind to be mobile, available on location and ready to provide to a much needed space for the disabled community.
