Voices Rising:LGBTQ of Color Arts & Culture was founded in 2007, as the first organization foregrounding this collective of QTIPOC arts. We exist to lift and nurture QTIPOC culture and arts, through innovative programming, provided free of charge to everyone. We create safe and welcoming community and mentor younger artists through consciously intergenerational projects. We raise awareness of our lives and culture, and our issues. We extend support to the community through our free of charge events and projects. In the tradition of Two Spirit peoples, we "keep the fire lit in the village".
