Heron Park Townhomes ~ Langley

por Habitat For Humanity of Island County

Habitat for Humanity of Island County, in partnership with the Langley Main Street Association, the State of Washington, the City of Langley, and local community members, is developing the Heron Park Townhomes in Langley, creating six permanently affordable townhomes for local workforce families.

Each home will be a three-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath townhome, with all six units designed to be ADA accessible and one unit fully ADA compliant. These design features ensure greater accessibility and long-term livability for individuals and families with mobility needs, supporting inclusive housing within the community.

Homebuyer families will actively participate in the construction of the homes through Habitat’s sweat equity model and complete required homebuyer education, helping ensure long-term financial stability and successful homeownership. The homes will remain permanently affordable, preserving access to homeownership for future generations.

Located in the heart of Langley, the Heron Park Townhomes support neighborhood vitality, accessibility, and workforce retention by enabling residents to live close to their jobs and community services. This project reflects a collaborative approach to addressing Island County’s housing affordability challenges and demonstrates Habitat for Humanity of Island County’s commitment to inclusive, sustainable homeownership.
