AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION
Glendale, ArizonaThe Frank Luke Chapter, one of four Arizona chapters along with those in Prescott, Tucson and Sierra Vista has been a proud member of the Air Force Association for more than 35 years. The chapter was chartered on December 31, 1980, with 43 charter members and 12 service/associate members who were considered charter members. Today, there are approximately 1,800 AFA members affiliated with the Frank Luke Chapter.
- Sponsor Luke AFB Annual Awards Banquet, quarterly award ceremonies, CCAF graduations, ALS graduations and other military events of the 56th FW, 944th FW and 161st ARW.
- Solicit participation by area students in high schools and middle schools in annual CyberPatriot competitions, StellarXplorers programs and Teacher of the Year both regionally and nationally.
- Support Active Duty, Air Reserve and Air National Guard families with programs such as dinners for families of deployed service members.
- Support 18 area high schools' AFJROTC units, and AFROTC students at Arizona State University.
- Support Active Duty, Air Reserve and Air National Guard units in the Valley.
- Support AFA's Wounded Airman Program.
