All American Heroes Foundation (AAHF) is founded on the belief that it makes the
result much more rewarding when Veterans, First Responders and their families are involved in the process. We believe that bridging the gap between dependence, empowerment, and freedom is priceless. Many disabled Veterans and First Responders suffer from TBI, PTSD, depression, and mobility issues, but that doesn’t end there.
With pillars of development: Re-integration, Education, Challenge, Teamwork, Adapting, Overcoming, and Achievement. We feel these pillars play a crucial role in the “Post Traumatic Growth” for our Veterans and First Responders. Using real-world experience and training will not only help others in the backcountry whether on a snowmobile, skiing, hunting or camping, but it will also give you a purpose.
There is no better place to find yourself than in the backcountry of the Western United States, on a trail, in the mountains, fishing on the river or just learning a new skill and and getting that sense of purpose back. Our goal is to train, educate and continue awareness in nature. By doing this, our heroes will regain that sense of purpose and "Reach their
individual Peak" with your Brothers in Arms.
Our goal is to utilize the knowledge, experience and basic skillset our Heroes possess to riding, hiking, Fishing, hunting, camping or basic life saving skills and provide an opportunity to continue to serve their community and make the backcountry experience safer. We are providing opportunities for our Heroes to experience the backcountry and receive Avalanche Education, Safety and create Awareness. We carry that load, shoulder to shoulder.
We provide opportunities for our “Heroes” to participate in our Outdoor Recreational Therapy programs. We believe in Alternative Therapy and through our Heroes Riding Clinics, Backcountry Wilderness Training and Education we have created a platform for our “Heroes” with varied skillsets and experience to expand education and awareness throughout the Recreational Sports Community.
If we make a choice to take a chance we can change!
