Who we serve: Starbrite serves children, adults, and seniors with disabilities, veterans and first responders.
Why we do it: To improve lives. We strive to be the hands of feet of Jesus and help people! Examples of success... a child gaining core muscles to sit independently..... a veteran working through PTSD symptoms.
Where we do it: Whitehouse, TX. Smith County and the surrounding area.
How we do it: We use horses and highly trained instructors to serve the individual's needs. Therapeutic Riding can improve cognitive, physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Therapeutic Riding can also help with life skills such as: identifying and managing emotions, developing communication and relational skills, overcoming fears, and learning trust. Riding horses can aid in emotion awareness, establishing trust, increase sequence memory, balance and body awareness to name a few.
