Mental health such as Post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury are the number one causes for veteran suicide. By connecting veterans with other veterans we hope to curve these numbers by showing veterans a way to deal with these issues. Teaching them fishing techniques to help them be productive and catch fish, thus resulting in them being outdoors more and keeping the mind busy. In doing this, we can save a life. We hope to be able to not only take these veterans out but supply them with the tools and equipment to keep using fishing as therapy after our session.
