The Memorial Valor Foundation believes adamantly in our cause and even more so in the families of our Special Forces Operators. The Memorial Valor Foundation currently supports 78 Special Operations Gold Star families. As such, the foundation has developed four pillars of giving back to these families that have sacrificed so much:
1. Annually donate $100,000 amongst that year’s 10 Honoree Families.
2. Annual assistance to all Honoree families, past & present (holiday assistance, scholarships, birthday support for SOF Gold Star children, emergency support, etc.).
3. Once-in-a-lifetime vacations for SOF Gold Star families (as available).
4. Fifteen-year goal of purchasing a new home or paying the mortgage of a SOF Gold Star Family in dire need of support.
Every October, the Memorial Valor Foundation hosts its primary annual fundraiser: the country's largest multi-gun, 3-day competition where we honor 10 honoree families who have suffered the loss of spouses, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters. These “Honorees” made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and we want to ensure these families know they are not alone and their loved one is not forgotten.
Through this 3-gun competition, we bring together the competitive shooting community to learn about each fallen hero, and provide a memorable experience for everyone involved. Hundreds of competitors and supporters join together for a weekend of competitive shooting, remembrance of the fallen and the support of the honoree families. Competitors can expect traditional 3 gun-style stages and non-traditional shooting stages. At each shooting stage, range officers share the story of a specific Honoree and have competitors sign a photo poster that is gifted to the Honoree’s family after the competition.
In 2025, the foundation launched it's initial charity golf tournament and will host our initial foundation charity gala in February of 2026. We are excited about expanding our fundraisers to help spread our mission, raise funds and support for our families, and to share the stories of these fallen heroes.
*The foundation was founded in 2018 as the Memorial 3Gun Foundation. In October of 2024, at the 7th Annual Memorial 3Gun Competition, the foundation announced it's rebrand/name change to Memorial Valor Foundation.
