Daddy's Closet

Daddy's closet was created to provide personal, household and other items to seniors, especially those living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia, in the 4 senior/memory care facilities adopted by The James M. Dixon Foundation.
Due to the continued effect of the COVID virus. The Foundation has not been able to provide services, including personal care and food items, to various senior facilities. Many residents do not have resources or family members to assist in closing the financial and supply gaps that they have each month. Although volunteers from The Foundation have not been able to resume most in person activities with this facilities, we have found a way to support the growing need through Daddy's Closet. With Daddy's Closet, residents will be able to obtain items such as: personal undergarments, bed coverings, adult protein drinks, deodorant, lotion, soap, and the like, as well as snack foods and drinks. Daddy's Closet is inventoried and restocked monthly, and the offerings include special requests. As well, in order to support front line staff, snack items are also available in a separate closet.

Funds are needed in order to assist The Foundation in continuing and creating this project.
