Like other animal rescue organizations, we strive to leave our mark on the sheer volume of animal euthanasia in this country. We believe each life is worth fighting for. What makes us different is that we also believe each rescue animal that we put through our foster home footprint is destined to positively impact a human life.
In addition to standard adoptions, we foster and prepare companion animals for adopters who are autistic, epileptic, elderly, suffering from depression and PTSD and more who benefit greatly through the unconditional companionship of one of our rescues.
Supporting us now will help us move into a new facility which in turn will allow us save more animals and rescue more people. Further, we will be able to expand our community outreach and animal-assisted therapy programs allowing us to help even more people in need.
We are currently raising $234,000 to help support our new location and facility. It breaks down as $73,000 for capital repairs (plumbing, heating, carpentry). $28,000 in new equipment, $58,000 for new staff to help run the place and $75,000 to help sustain this for three years.
