Riding Unlimited is a non-profit 501 C 3, we have been in operation for 31 years, 24 of those at our current location in Ponder, TX. Our facility owns the 49 acres that provides our riders with a variety of riding terrain. We are a Premier Accredited riding center with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship Association International aka PATH INT'L. In order to retain that designation, we must undergo a site visit every 5 years to verify our adherence to over 100 safety standards set forth by the voting membership of PATH INT'L. All of our riding instructors are certified through PATH INT'L and are required to keep their membership active, to continue their education pertaining to their profession as well as current certification in CPR and first Aid. We aim to keep our classes small, (4 to a class) which allows the instructors to set goals for each rider and to document those goals with lesson plans and progress reports which are kept in the individual files of each rider. Riders must be at least 4 years old to sign up. At the end of each 10 week session the goals are reviewed and the lesson plans are adjusted to fit the needs of the rider in order to allow them the opportunity to experience success on some level. Our FREE first responders and Veterans program allows the men and women to connect with their peers in a safe, unique and relaxed setting. We provide a private meeting room with light refreshments and if needed, a counselor to talk to. All of this is free to them.
