This 27-acre mountain farm is a serene, secure and confidential Landing Zone for Special Operations Forces and First Responders to rest, renew, decompress and find individual focus for life after war and trauma. Landing Zone Grace, known affectionately as LZG or LZ-Grace, is a place of home-cooked meals and fire-pit evenings. The lush farmland will soon be full of vegetable gardens, fruit and nut tree groves, with 1000 feet of Passage Creek in Fort Valley dividing the pastures and wooded land. It is a place of hiking, fishing, skiing in winter months and relaxing by the fire pit. Walking paths, meditation gardens, horses, companion dogs, or finding the nooks best for yoga, art, woodworking, and working out are just a few of the ways to retreat, renew a soul or find your peace.
ON the farm, we provide home-cooked meals and fire-pit evenings that seat one, two or twenty. We prune walking paths and weed the meditation garden. We feed the horses and take them for walks around the property. We give you a yoga mat and show you what to do with it. Sometimes the dogs help but don’t trust ‘em if they ask to use your mat.
