Our passion is to help families in need with emergency food assistance, clothing items and resources to help them live a healthier lifestyle. Blessed Angels Community Center is dedicated to extending a helping hand to homeless, low income, and at-risk veterans and their families with emergency food assistance and clothes.
We participate in the National Veterans Outreach Program “Annual Veterans Stand Down” giving out food to more than 1000 homeless Veterans at each event.
As the host site for Seniors 60 and over, Blessed Angels Community Center is committed to serving the senior community. We have a special monthly distribution of healthy nutritional groceries and fresh vegetables for seniors and their families. We also provide resources to help them maintain their independence while living a healthier and better life.
Blessed Angels is partners with the San Antonio Food Bank, American Red Cross, WellMed, Texas Diaper Bank and The National Veterans Outreach American GI Forum. We were First Responders for The United States Coast Guard during the Government Shutdown serving more than 600 Government Employees with groceries, household items, baby items, gift cards, and more. We were First Responders for evacuees during Hurricane Linda and Hurricanne Harvey serving more than 3,000 evacuees with groceries, household items, baby items, gift cards, luggage, and more. We were first responders at the Uvalde massacre, providing financial aid to help families with living and funeral expenses.
