ABERDEEN SENIOR CENTER INC

The Aberdeen Area Senior Center gives Seniors a place to come visit with other seniors. It is a safe place where activities are held daily. Activities include: Cards, Pool Playing, Exercise, Exercise Equipment, Crafts, Singing Groups, Games, Technology Classes, Veteran's Coffee Hour, Caregiving Support Meetings and meals are served from at the center 5 days a week.

The Aberdeen Area Senior Center is a 501 3 (c). The mission of the Aberdeen Area Senior Center is to provide recreation, education, rehabilitation and support services for all senior citizens and the handicapped in Aberdeen and the surrounding area to enable them to live independent, healthy and well-rounded lives, living in service to others through volunteerism and in cooperation with community. In addition, Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious meals to those in need of specialized diet in cooperation with Avera St. Luke's Hospital thus allowing for individuals to remain independent and in their own homes.
