Being homeless is unthinkable for most Americans. Becoming homeless is a nightmare in hell for those living outside. We will provide food and shelter for homeless veterans in America across every major city. We own 100 acres to provide housing, where they can enjoy nature and learn to grow fresh food, raise farm animals, and make a living. This will provide jobs, shelter and a income for homeless veterans to help them get back on their feet.
HUD-VASH enrolls the largest number and largest percentage of Veterans who have experienced long-term or repeated homelessness. At the end of FY 2019, there were 90,749 Veterans with active HUD-VASH vouchers and 83,684 vouchers in use. Although flawless counts are impossible to come by – the transient nature of homeless populations presents a major difficulty – the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) estimates that 40,056 veterans are homeless on any given night.
