Funding for the American Indian Veterans Memorial have been collected with the assistance of the American Indian Alaska Native Veterans Memorial Committee (AIANVMC). That group has reached out to tribal nations throughout the country and to individuals, groups and businesses as well. Working together the RNCSC and the AIANVMC have collected $1,150,000 to date. All donations are handled by the RNCSC Treasurer and reserved solely for construction-related costs. Through the combined efforts of the Committees $986,235 Costs for the Project, listed below, have already been paid:

$50,000 VA/NCA Required Long Term Maintenance Fund
$495,000 Purchase the AIV Memorial’s centerpiece statue THE GIFT from Artist A. Thomas Schomberg
$8,000 Delivery Costs from Berkeley’s Artworks Foundry to Riverside National Cemetery
$32,000 Purchase the AIV Memorial’s Entrance Statues, two TRIBUTE EAGLEs from Artist Michael Curtis
$114,000 Purchase and Delivery of Granite Stone Objects (24 seating blocks, 2 pedestals for eagle statues)
$12,235 Costs to clean THE GIFT and transport it from RNC storage to public view at the Riverside National Cemetery's amphitheater site.
In order to begin construction at the VA-approved site for the American Indian Veterans Memorial, we continue to seek donations for the plaza’s construction and landscaping in the amount of $421,791.
