HomeAid builds new lives for American homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach. Over 80% of America's homeless are without a place to live solely due to unforeseen circumstances: military veterans with disabilities needing a temporary home, a mother and her children seeking shelter from abuse, youth emancipated from the foster care system, a pregnant teen with no place to go, parents choosing to pay for their child's life saving medicine, a father losing his job due to layoffs, a family who lost their home to foreclosure and victims of natural disasters. HomeAid and its network or non-profit service providers give their time and energy to rebuild the lives of America's homeless. Every HomeAid shelter project includes support services that help residents move toward self-sufficency, such as education and job-skills training, financial counseling, physical and emotional support and much more. Through the generosity of builders and their trade partners and the public, HomeAid provides an avenue for people experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives.
