In our 15th year, 87 cents of every dollar, on average, goes back to our mission driven programs – Health & Wellness (individualized treatment for invisible wounds of war) and Seasons Of Service (gifting program for military families in need).
Our Health & Wellness Program, built on the principles of providing holistic care and working to identify the root cause of hidden wounds of war, delivers personalized treatment plans and treatment to Veterans and their families. Boot Campaign treats diverse health challenges connected to Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and/or Traumatic Brain Injury, as well as addressing trauma-based insomnia, chronic pain and substance abuse and targets many of the same risk factors associated with suicidal ideation. Boot Campaign’s holistic, time intensive, and highly personal method delivered by qualified professionals helps to shift the trajectory of military and veteran lives in this country.
There can be difficult seasons throughout the year for many Veteran and military families who have experienced a catastrophic event, are separated because of deployment, or are caring for the health of a wounded, injured or ill service member. Our Season of Service Program, formerly Santa Boots, unites Americans to show gratitude, meet service members’ needs and strives to alleviate stress and financial burden, by delivering specially curated gifts and services to Veteran and active-duty military families nationwide.
Our #LaceUpAMERICA and #YouMatter initiatives encourage all Americans to demonstrate gratitude for those who serve(d) and help shatter the stigma surrounding mental health care. Utilizing the combat boot, which is standard in the Armed Forces and a recognized marker of service, thousands of Americans have joined the #LaceUpAMERICA movement. Our #YouMatter effort uses two important words that everyone - especially the Veteran community - needs to hear. These messages are used on our branded merchandise and in our communications efforts to stand in support of and show the military and Veteran community Thank You For Your Service, You Matter.
