NAMI - GEAUGA COUNTY INC

NAMI Geauga strives to advocate at the county, state and national levels for non-discriminatory access to quality healthcare, housing, education and employment for people living with a mental health condition. Our main goals are to;

1. Educate the public about mental health conditions.
2. Work to eliminate the stigma of mental health conditions.
3. Advocate for increased funding for research into the causes and treatment of mental health conditions.

Our vision is to create a culture where open disclosure of a mental health condition does not have negative consequences in the community, the schools and in the workplace. We continue to seek better treatment for mental illnesses and to eliminate the stigma associated with them. Our programs are a primary source of assistance to people of all cultural and economic backgrounds.
