PATRIOT PAWS SERVICE DOGS

The mission of Patriot PAWS is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities including PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Patriot PAWS intends to build partnerships with state and community organizations to help develop and support this goal.

The overarching goals of Patriot PAWS’ programs are to be able to produce a highly trained service dog to a deserving Veteran at no cost while providing support, customized training, certification, and the annual recertification required to be a Patriot PAWS Service Dog Team, as well as personalized follow-up training as needed and monthly check-ins for the life of the Veteran. By creating high-quality service dog teams, Patriot PAWS is helping empower Veterans to improve their quality of life, increase their independence reconnect to their families, support networks, and communities.
