To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to inform you that Prudential Center (Boston, MA) has chosen The Den Org., Inc for its 31 Nights of Lights for the evening of December 5, 2025. More to the matter, I am the founder and executive director of The Den Org., Inc. The Den Org. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which combats food insecurity by reducing the number of individuals who go to bed hungry daily. We are constantly thinking of innovative ways to capture wholesome food to feed our neighbors.
Accordingly, The Den is asking for an early "Giving Tuesday." Now well known, for November 2025, SNAP benefits, bka food stamps and/or WIC, are suspended. This during a time when layoffs and federal furlough are already negatively impacting so many households and millions of Americans. So we seek financial contributions for a special program to celebrate our military families who sacrifice so much without compensation. Some lack a peace of mind while deployed as home is a worry.
Beginning November 11, 2025 (Veterans Day), The Den hopes to provide twenty-two (22) military households with groceries and a gift card for $276.00 per week for the next three (3) weeks of November to assist with Thanksgiving. $276 represents the 250th anniversary of the first American military branch and an additional $26 wishing a prosperous 2026. There are currently over one million service members who receive SNAP benefits. We also would like to provide another fifty (50) military households with a thousand dollars ($1000.00) in December 2025 to help with the holiday. The Den wants to remind all that we "got your 6" in the same manner that the various military service members and their families have "our 6" to ensure our freedom and democracy. This is a small token to remind our service members and their respective families that such sacrifice is not for naught.
