Stacks & Sovereignty is a gathering and evolving platform for artists, cultural workers, and community builders imagining what it means to create, sustain, and share power on our own terms. Rooted in the belief that artists deserve both creative freedom and material dignity, Stacks & Sovereignty creates space to talk honestly about money, labor, ownership, wellness, and the systems that shape our creative lives.
Developed by multidisciplinary artist and educator Sankofa B. Soleil through the Institute of Art and Movement, Stacks & Sovereignty is part conversation, part cultural intervention, and part practice ground for the future we are already building. We gather to ask better questions, share what we know, and imagine forms of creative life where our work can sustain us without costing us our freedom and our hearts.
