przez EXCHANGE CLUB OF LAS VEGAS NV INCPathway2Help: Turning "I Don't Know Where to Start" Into a First Step
When someone in Southern Nevada hits a crisis — losing housing, losing a job, facing a health emergency — the help they need usually already exists. The problem isn't a lack of resources; it's that finding the right help is confusing, slow, and exhausting. Caseworkers spend hours calling organization after organization just to check availability. Once someone is referred, no one tracks whether it actually worked or whether they kept moving forward. Donors are left funding good intentions with no way to see real impact.
Pathway2Help fixes that. It connects three groups — people in need, vetted nonprofits, and donors — so help finds people faster, nonprofits get real support instead of working alone, and donors can finally see their generosity make a measurable difference.
Who's behind it: Pathway2Help is led through the Exchange Club of Las Vegas, a 78-year-old community institution, alongside partners Holdfast NV Foundation, Restoration and Recovery Foundation, and Sheep Not Goats. The pilot launched in Southern Nevada in May 2025 and is already up and running: 1,200 nonprofit organizations listed, 40 verified partners, 40 active users, and real people already being connected to help.
Built for accountability: Every partner organization goes through a vetting process before joining the network — confirming they're a legitimate, active nonprofit in good standing. They're re-checked regularly, not just once, so the network stays trustworthy over time. Clear leadership sits with the Exchange Club, so decisions don't stall and funds are always accounted for.
How we know it's working — the Growth Score: Pathway2Help tracks each person's progress across eight areas of life stability: Housing, Health, Training, Finances, Social connection, Life Skills, Employment, and — for those who want it — Faith. This becomes one simple score that shows whether someone is truly moving forward, not just whether they received help.
And it doesn't stop when a case closes. At 60 and 180 days later, we check back in: Did the housing hold? Is the job still there? This is how we prove outcomes actually lasted — not just that help was given once, but that it stuck.
Because we're scoring people the same way across hundreds of organizations, something new becomes possible: for the first time, we can see what "good" actually looks like across an entire community of nonprofits — and which organizations are consistently delivering it.
What your gift builds: The foundation is already in place — the team, the partnerships, the framework. What's needed now is the funding to bring the full platform to life over the next 120 days, including:
Instant matching — so caseworkers can find the right place for someone immediately, instead of playing phone tag.
Guided action plans — helping each person build a clear path forward, with progress tracked every step.
Connected training and skills programs — so people gain the skills that lead to lasting stability, not just a temporary fix.
A financial coaching tool — helping people build budgets, set goals, and change their financial trajectory long-term.
The Growth Score system — the live, transparent way progress is measured and proven
60- and 180-day follow-ups — the proof that outcomes hold, not just that help happened once.
A new way to give: Donors can search by cause, region, and results, and get matched to the organizations and people who fit what they care about most. You can sponsor an organization, or go further and sponsor a real person — with a real name and a real Growth Score you can watch update over time. You'll see updates as progress happens and receive regular summaries, so you're not just getting a receipt — you're watching a story unfold that you helped write.
This is what makes Pathway2Help different: for the first time, the organizations doing the best work have real proof of it — and a way to put that proof directly in front of the people who want to fund it.
Where this goes next: Southern Nevada is where we're proving the model works — one community, done right, before we expand. Everything we're building here — the matching system, the partner network, the way we measure success — is designed to work in any community facing the same problem. Over time, our goal is for Pathway2Help to grow into its own independent nonprofit, expanding city by city, with our founding partners staying involved every step of the way.
The ask: $750,000 to complete the platform build, in three stages tied to real milestones:
$250,000 — Build the platform and get it fully ready to launch
$300,000 — Run the pilot and prove real outcomes for real people
$200,000 — Grow the network and put the systems in place to sustain it long-term
As the platform grows, it's designed to increasingly pay for itself — so this isn't funding that disappears after one cycle. It's funding that builds something lasting.
Pathway2Help doesn't just connect people to help — it proves that help worked, in a way you can actually see.
