Help Families Recover After the Tallahassee Shooting

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids is seeking to raise $10,000 to help victims and families affected by the October 24, 2026, shooting near Florida A&M University's Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida.

Families affected by violence can face unexpected expenses, emotional trauma and a difficult road to recovery. This fundraiser will help provide emergency financial assistance and access to recovery resources for families with verified needs.

Families can request assistance while fundraising continues. They do not have to wait for the campaign to end to be considered for help.

How Donations Will Help

The $10,000 goal will help build the funds available to address verified needs, which may include:

Why We Are Responding

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids was formed following the May 24, 2022, shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. What began as a small fundraising walk to support the Uvalde community and families whose children survived the shooting grew into a national youth advocacy and violence-prevention organization focused on crisis response and emergency assistance.

Since then, the foundation has worked to connect families and communities affected by violence with practical assistance, mental health resources and fundraising support. The Tallahassee fundraiser continues that work.

Individuals, employees and businesses can contribute through eligible charitable giving and workplace giving programs. Corporate partners may also be able to support the effort through matching gifts and grant opportunities, subject to their eligibility requirements and approval processes.
