Operation Lifeline's Veteran Housing Rehabilitation Program
przez OPERATION LIFELINE INCOperation Lifeline's Veteran Housing Rehabilitation Program improves the quality of life for low- and moderate-income veterans by rehabilitating their residence or modifying it for accessibility. The program addresses HUD's most critical components of a healthy home (dry, clean, pest-free, ventilated, safe, contaminant-free, maintained, thermally controlled) at no cost to residents.
In order to qualify for assistance under the Veteran Housing Rehabilitation Program, applicant homeowners must be honorably-discharged veterans and meet the low- and moderate-income persons eligibility criteria established by HUD. Since the intent of the program is to result in housing occupied by low- and moderate-income persons, veterans must also commit to reside in the dwelling for at least 10 years as part of their application.
