Gallery Assistance/Docent
• 1 person daily (or six different people per week as docent) to act as assistance/ Docent to the gallery, gallery opens from 11:30-6:00
• 2 people clean Classroom General cleaning up, reorganizing, setup classroom, place large table other side of room.
• Organize room putting everything into order.
• Learn about art, who is at the gallery (artists) learn about style, size, medium
• Direct people through the gallery
• One person to write and send out news releases to newspapers make contact to meet submission deadlines, civic centers, and churches seeking their support. Ask if we might setup a collection box in their space?
• Four people to seek donations from local businesses, contact can be made in person, phone, and email. Social media blast.
• One-person, social media expert post our events and info
• Grant Writer can work from home.
What we need:
Desk top/lap top computers 2 with monitors, mouse, and office word.
Two folding chairs
Dress in everyday clothing.
