Pets and Beasties Project became necessary, when people began dropping of cats and other animals at our door, 7157 Hwy 70, Bartlett, TN, in 2021. Soon after, other animals began to tap at our back door for human attention. We now care for 29 Deer, 27 Chickens, 18 Ginney Quail, 14 Ducks, 9 cats, 4 ground hogs, 3 fox, 2 eagles, 4 owls all residing at the gardens located at 7157 US Hwy 70. To help keep these animals from the city streets and neighboring yards and/or starving to death; we feed and water our creature friends daily.
We need:
One person to clean and fill water containers daily & feed the animals at their individual feeding locations.
One person, can be same person to purchase fresh corn for deer and chickens, lettuce and leafy greens for chickens and ducks, apples, cat food dry bag, cooked chicken from Kroger when available $1.99. Bird food, cracked corn, chick food, duck food, dished out daily.
One person to clean up or tidy up small purple chicken house, rake hay back into place, sweep floor, clean out water and feeders, check nest for eggs, remove all eggs except marked eggs these remain in nest. Clean eggs and cart, place in refrigerator.
Chicken food per month $70.00

One person to blast the project on social media, Facebook and other platforms seeking donations.
One person to write and send out news release to newspapers make contact to meet submission deadlines, civic centers, and churches seeking their support. Ask if we might setup a collection box in their space
One person to seek donations from local businesses, contact can be made in person, phone, and email.
One person to blast out monetary donation requests and/or bring to the table new ideas on gaining funding. Collaborate with grant writer.
100% of the funds raised from this event goes to the partnering charity (or charities) of that year, the gallery keeps none of the money raised, we are 100% volunteers’ no one is paid.
