Online Database of Tsimshian, Tlingit, and Haida People of Alaska and Canada

The database of Tsimshian, Tlingit and Haida People of the Northwest Coast of Alaska, Canada, and surrounding areas is a cornerstone database to help people find their roots and clan Houses and community. This project is a building block for other databases of indigenous groups.

This project is composed of an old database to be transferred to an online database "to be maintained for availability and distribution to the associated members, tribes, descendants, in perpetuity."

The program will allow for new additions, error checking and correction, database redundancy and display in a list as well as 3 varieties of visual display.

The database consists of over 50 years of genealogical records in an outdated database, curated by a genealogist with obituaries, weddings, promotions, community sources, museums, and other sources.
