LAKE MERRITT DANCE ORGANIZERS FOUNDATION INC

Lake Merritt Dance Organizer's Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit that gives dance organizers and dancers a home at the beautiful, historic Lake Merritt Veterans Memorial building in Oakland. Our space located at 200 Grand Ave at the Veteran's Memorial Hall.

Our mission is to rent space to community dance, movement and music programs at affordable rates.

We are the “Master Renter” that secures the lease with the City of Oakland so our programs have access to the building. We also provide essential administrative services so that Lake Merritt Dance can coordinate both the dance programs and building operations with the city.
Our programs pay rent to Lake Merritt Dance, but program rents are not enough to cover all of our expenses, so we need to make up the shortfall with donations.

As they say, it takes a village. If we come together we will be able to continue dancing in our beautiful dance home.
