MOUNTAIN RESOURCE CENTER INC

Mountain Resource Center (MRC) was founded in 1990 to promote self-sufficiency for residents in Western Jefferson and Eastern Park County. MRC is the only agency along the Highway 285 corridor that provides wrap-around services for low-income and in-need residents. The agency's principal programs are as follows: Community Health Program: onsite and mobile food pantries, cooking classes, and SNAP sign-up. Family Education: Incredible Years Parent and Child curriculum, Circle of Parents support group, and Outdoor Adventures. Case Management: Basic needs, emergency financial assistance, workforce development, job training and veterans support for clients. Resale Store: A retail thrift store that supports MRC programming, promotes sustainability, and provides vouchers to clients for free clothing, kitchen items, and other needed goods.
