The Breen Fund is a bluegrass music education fund for young people in memory of William J. Breen, a talented banjo player and an influential professor and mentor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. It is used to fund grants for bluegrass education (camps, lessons, workshops), instrument repair, educational materials, in-school bluegrass programs, bluegrass-related project grants, etc.
