The Giving Hand's mission is to help veterans, homeless men and women, underserved minorities and youths, low-income families and seniors succeed mentally, emotionally, physically and financially. Heal by equipping those in our communities with the medical, educational, and financial resources necessary to achieve greater self-identity, economic stability, personal accountability, academic excellence, community involvement, social equality and balanced living. To restore those in need by providing housing, rehabilitation centers, job opportunities, scholarships, nutritional resources, educational counseling and outreach programs for the mentally ill.
The Giving Hand is dismantling the stronghold of poverty by restoring those marginalized by society. We aim to demonstrate that welfare should be a safety net, not a permanent solution. Our commitment is to empower youth with essential resources and mentorship to prevent the descent into homelessness and substance abuse, with the hopes of preparing them for a brighter future.
