Founded in 2010, Guardian Group began with a conviction: If society isn’t looking for these women and children, we will. We don’t pretend to be something we’re not. We aren't the ones busting down doors with tactical gear and machismo. We are the "guy in the chair"—the experts sitting behind computers who alert law enforcement about exactly which door to break down. And we do it for free.

Our global team of paid and volunteer analysts work around the clock to identify women and children in trouble. Sexual slavery doesn’t observe business hours or state lines, and neither do we. We search 24/7/366 because this crime doesn’t take days off.

We are the only organization in the United States that passes reliable, detailed information through our Project 1591 platform to law enforcement at no charge, filling a critical gap for agencies that do not have the time and resources needed to identify victims on their own. Because our work is precise enough to act on immediately, we now have law enforcement partners in more than 35 states.

Our Approach

We identify victims no one else is finding: She doesn’t need another awareness campaign. She needs someone to find her. That’s what we do. To date, Guardian Group has identified over 1700 women and children trapped in sexual slavery.

We tell it like it is: You’ve heard of human trafficking. Now call it what it is: children being sold for sex. We speak plainly because women and children deserve better than comfortable abstractions.

We remove barriers to recovery: Nothing should get in the way of identifying victims. We give our information to law enforcement with no strings attached so the path from identification to recovery is as smooth and fast as possible.

We are anchored in evidence: We do our jobs, and we do them well. The work our analysts produce is precise and dependable. When it comes to identifying women and children in trouble, only our best efforts will do.
