Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for persons with mobility impairments, hearing loss, veterans with PTSD by providing certified Assistance Dogs and to provide Therapy support and comfort to people in healthcare/educational settings.
Fidos For Freedom, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization located in Laurel, MD. Founded in 1987, the organization provides Assistance Dogs to persons with mobility impairments, hearing loss and veterans with PTSD within a 75-mile radius, including the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan areas. We also have a Therapy Dog Program which consists of people who volunteer with their personal pets to visit local healthcare facilities in order to bring unconditional love to patients and residents.
