DV Farm, Inc. focuses on rehabilitating veterans who have found themselves homeless due to alcohol / drug addictions. The Veteran Affairs Administration has a 30-day in-patient program which does not address the underlying issues that the veteran is dealing with and those veterans who did not complete the program or have returned to their habits upon completion of the program are those that we wish to help. DV Farm, Inc. accepts veterans who have gone through programs without much success. One of the qualifications to become a resident at the DV Farm is to have gone through programs. We provide animal therapy, limited freedoms, supervised activities (such as building a shed, cutting down trees, etc.) to improve the land and a new sense of purpose. We ensure that the residents do not have to worry about whether they'll eat or have a bed to sleep in since these things are provided to them. DV Farm, Inc. is run solely off private donations with no state or federal assistance.
