Military Spouse Leadership Development Program (MSLDP)
przez MILITARY SPOUSE ADVOCACY NETWORKOur communities need strong, knowledgeable and confident leaders. The MSLDP is a national virtual program focused on providing military spouses the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Service, Leadership, Mentorship and Advocacy. This program is dedicated to the development of leaders who can serve and lead efforts and changes needed in local communities in their respective areas of interest/expertise. The program will serve as an introduction to empower military spouses that want to improve and make a difference in their local communities by preparing and unlocking their potential to become future action-oriented leaders, advocates and mentors.
This program will provide military spouses the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of service, leadership, mentorship and advocacy. A diverse cohort of military spouses will come together to receive leadership training from top military leaders, impactful voices in the community, micro-certifications in mental health allyship, professional communications training, masterclasses from Ivy League institution, influential panel participants and a Leadership Certificate from Harvard University.
Military spouses feel strong and empowered when receiving support from professional mentors, community leaders, fellow military spouses, advocates, military leadership, and civilian counterparts. This program will facilitate a network of leadership-oriented military spouses in a diverse cohort across all military branches to work on dissecting personal values, leadership examples and tools to achieve actionable steps in improving the communities around them. They will have exclusive access to a network of supportive agencies and individuals that will train, educate and develop future mentors, advocates and service leaders. The graduates will have the opportunity to remain connected to the MSLDP Alumni network, become MSAN Mentors, community advocates and leaders in their local communities/expertise as well as join existing service initiatives.
