Hearts Knit Together serves all 16 domestic violence shelters, Utah Department of Workforce Services assisting Refugees, Family Support Center, Serving All, Women of the World, First Step House, Utah County Division of Substance Abuse, and 14 other charities who serve families in crisis primarily in Utah. We desire to make a positive impact in their lives through our message of hope and love.
Hearts Knit Together has a large network of church, community, women, youth organizations, Eagle Scouts, and other individuals who donate to our nonprofit. In addition, we fill a need in the community for people who want to give, but are homebound or handicapped. These individuals donate the majority of what we need to provide our “Welcome Kits”. Over 622 individuals or groups hand-make or purchase the contents for our “Welcome Kits”. HKT is literally Santa’s workshop all year-long. It is a place for healing for anyone who comes or serves there.
Hearts Knits Together has provided 32,323 kits since 2007; 5,700 kits and over $100,000 of inventory donated in 2017 alone.
Hearts Knit Together is a 100% volunteer charity. NO salaries are paid to anyone!!

Hearts Knit Together has been providing families in crisis for almost 12 years. Through our service to the domestic violence shelters, we serve every major community in the state of Utah: Brigham City, Logan, Ogden, Davis County, West Jordan, Tooele, Provo, Park City, Vernal, Price, Richfield, Moab, Cedar City, Blanding, and St. George.
We donate 170 kits a month to all refugees who come through Utah Department of Workforce Services. Other groups we serve are Family Support Center, Women of the World, Africa Helpline, Utah County Division of Substance Abuse, First Step House and many other charities on an as needed basis.
We help fill a cargo freight semi approximately 3 times a year with toys, clothing, blankets, baby items, hats, scarves, slippers, gloves, hygiene items, school supplies etc., which are sent to the Congo to orphanages which were built by Africa Helpline.
We provide beautiful women and baby kits to Safe Haven Emergency Village (SHEV), located in Idaho, which provides facilities and midwives for refugees giving birth.
We have been asked to serve other charities with similar needs and our new space will enable us to do so. We anticipate a continued increase in needs for “Welcome Kits” and inventory in the future.
Since 2007 we have donated 32,323 kits plus a huge amount of inventory which benefits thousands more recipients through these organizations.
