Whether it's defending our country, our city or helping individuals in crisis, the men and women who perform these services and their families are often the ones who need help in the aftermath of executing their duties.

In addition to our regular programs, VRA offers events such as Operation Free Ride Rodeo, our annual event for the last 8 years has provided over 3,600 free horse rides, food, games & entertainment to our Military, First Responders & their families.
We also provide therapeutic riding to children and adults with physical, behavioral, cognitive and emotional needs. Our programs are not just entertaining, but life changing!
Our mission has expanded to include at-risk youth, and adults in crisis. This expansion includes but is not limited to victims of domestic violence and those with special needs. Our programs are designed to support participants utilizing equine-facilitated activities.
VRA strives to improve the quality of life for students through these programs. As clients participate, they develop coping mechanisms that they then use to persevere, overcome, and conquer any of life’s challenges.
