Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle, Bureau & Putnam Counties

Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle Bureau & Putnam Counties (Habitat-LBPC) is a local Illinois affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. Our affiliate is committed to providing decent, secure, safe and affordable housing for low- and moderate- income community members. Secure housing provides significant economic impacts, including increases in local purchasing power, neighborhood enhancement, job creation, and new tax revenues. Habitat addresses housing needs and, and through a partnership with the qualified homeowner, offers the support and skills needed for successful home ownership. We are currently providing new and rehab homes, home owner repairs and we are offering our Habitat Veterans Build Program. We intend to serve and honor Veterans that have served and honored our country.

Habitat families work hard to pay an affordable mortgage. Families must show a need; qualify for a loan & work towards building their home.This is done with the assistance of our community volunteers. NOTHING is given away at Habitat but an opportunity.
