SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL, CAPITAL CITY SOUND CHAPTER

Capital City Sound, a 501c(3), is a chartered chorus of Sweet Adelines International focused on the education and the development of women in performance and leadership roles. The International Organization has approximately 25,000 members in countries around the globe including Sweden, Canada, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Barbershop singing is one of the hottest new hobbies for women today.

Based in Boise, Idaho, Capital City Sound Chorus takes pride in performing throughout the Treasure Valley and bringing the joy of music to audiences of all ages. We bring harmony into the community by performing for assisted living facilities, opening our doors to the community during the holidays, performing at various community events, and honoring our service men & women by singing at the VA, welcome home events, and Veterans Day programs. Known for exciting four-part a cappella arrangements of songs ranging from the classics of the Forties to the contemporary, Capital City Sound Chorus enjoys a reputation for professionalism and upbeat, lively entertainment.
