The Salvation Army – Paterson Corps (541-545 W. Broadway, Paterson, NJ 07509) serves as a faith-based community hub with the mission to meet human needs without discrimination.
The center offers a broad spectrum of programs designed to meet immediate and long-term needs in Passaic County and surrounding communities. Services include:
Sunday School and worship services (Sunday morning)
Social services/food pantry—providing food, pastoral care, and other basic needs support.
Senior program (Wednesday mornings) and virtual bible study
This project will further strengthen the Paterson Corps’ capacity to respond to both spiritual and physical needs of underserved individuals and families in Paterson / Passaic County. It will enhance their ability to deliver:
Increased access to nutritious food and pantry services for low-income households
Expanded pastoral care and support for vulnerable populations (including seniors, single-parent households, those facing homelessness or food insecurity)
Enriched youth and faith-integration programming that connects basic-needs services with holistic transformation
